The Historic St James & Madison hotels on Madison, directly next to the arena could be AMAZING. They look like near ruins today, and unfortunately word going around that Suns owner Robert Sarver wants to knock the buildings over to create a VIP valet parking lot.

These buildings are the gateway to the Warehouse district, and if the "Jackson Street Entertainment District" is ever going to happen, we need these buildings to be rehabilitated.

Below is a link to Vanishing PHX with more history on the buildings. They could make an awesome boutique hotel.

There's a large empty lot directly West of the hotels, which could be developed into a modern mid-rise hotel tower, with the historic building rehabilitated and it all interconnecting.
