The Grand Canal has immense potential, but it doesn't always feel safe and there are connectivity obstacles. If we fix these issues, this would be the perfect, car-free place to ride a bike, allowing us to connect so easily and quickly with other parts of the city. Safe crossings need to be in place in order to connect the canal path and the areas around the paths need to be cleaned up. This will attract more bicyclists and pedestrians - there's safety in numbers! |
