Planning for change and preservation of the areas surrounding our light rail line is a tremendous opportunity to maximize our investment in light rail and enhance the livability of the adjacent districts. This planning effort will serve as a model for other transit-oriented places along future light rail corridors throughout the city and region.

ReinventPHX is a collaborative partnership between the City of Phoenix, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Arizona State University, St. Luke’s Health Initiatives, and several other local, community-based organizations committed to improving the quality of life in Phoenix. Because of its potential to help reinvent how we grow in the future, the project has been named ReinventPHX. Five Transit Districts along Metro light rail are the focus and will serve as a new, livable model for urban development in Phoenix.
