Crosswalks should be more that just two painted lines; let's make them painted or striped. We also need stopping lines away from the crosswalk so that vehicles stop before the crosswalk instead of at it or on it. Pedestrians will feel safer with more space. And, hey - let's try some diagonal crosswalks! |
