Since we live in a "food desert", my idea is to plant fruit bearing trees in public places. By planting fruit trees such as Orange, Grapefruit, Avocado, Fig and Pomegranate Trees in public places and/or near low income areas in essence, would help battle the "food desert" epidemic. These trees would be beneficial to those who could use the fruit, such as the homeless and families that would appreciate feeding good fruit to their children.
