Idea: A community garden between the 24th St. and 38th St. and Washington Light Rail Stops.

A community garden would provide a place for people to volunteer, grow their own food, socialize, and enjoy nature. Meanwhile, the green space created would reduce the urban heat island effect. There are many schools, neighborhood groups, businesses, and others who could help activate a community garden project.
