To help attract visitors to become guests at hotels along the light rail lines, why not include light rail passes as part of the hotels' ammenities packages. This could be offered to the hotels at a negotiated low price and given to the guests at no extra cost. This will encourage guests to use light rail to get to meetings, restaurants and shopping, providing those venues are developed along the light rail rights of way.
