This is an alternative location to 7th Avenue and Osborn. This location intersects the North end of Phoenix College (its popular Culinary Cafe is on that corner), two elementary schools and the Osborn School District buildings. Osborn and 11th Avenue can benefit greatly from the addition of bike lanes. 11th Avenue between Indian School and Thomas is quite wide and very bikeable. A kiosk here would work quite well with one at the South end of Phoenix College at 15th Avenue Thomas. This location would also serve as a great connection to the light rail for the community since it's heavily residential and has several condo/apartment complexes. |
