Bike sharing is a very affordable transportation option that could greatly benefit low income and minority communities. We should create ways to help these groups utilize bike sharing through community outreach, financial assistance and station placement.

Using a more mobile bike sharing system, such as Bixi, that doesn't require excavation or electricity would allow the station to be easily moved if there aren't enough riders to support a station. Or to add stations if there is much demand.
