After a series of struggles with different restaurants and failed concepts, the Clarendon Hotel finally struck gold when Gallo Blanco opened a few years ago. It's a modern but unpretentious restaurant that focuses more on Interior Mexican food than heavy Sonoran border food. It's about a half mile from either the Indian School or the Osborn station. It's also readily accessible via the bike lanes on 3rd Ave.
