I love authentic urban ruins and the First Baptist Church on the corner of Monroe Street and 3rd Avenue is one.
Destroyed by fire decades ago its facade still stands. Slowly walking the street in front of it gives one a sense of what life was like 82 years ago when it was built.
They managed to salvage the small chapel that abuts the main church and it serves as an artist's studio now.
