Over the past 7 years as the local economy’s started their down ward struggles, many of the most important people were laid off, I’m talking cops, fire fighters and city workers. Now that we are making money again as a city let’s build this force back up. Let’s face it, PHX P.D is shorthanded, we all hear about it on a daily basis, let fix that, get the new officers on the streets, get them new cars, new Tasers and all the stuff that they need, that way we have more than 9 Officers working per beat. Let’s build sub stations in and near the communities’ instead of in the middle of nowhere. Let’s get the fire fighters out of buildings that were once storage sheds for farm equipment and into a building that isn’t from the 70's. This is only my 2 cents on this one.
