Convert a low traffic street into a pedestrian only street. This will increase area “walkability,” commerce for surrounding businesses, and connectivity of the community. Having an entire street solely dedicated to pedestrian traffic will also open up the opportunity for public events such as farmers markets, food trucks, festivals, etc., all while having the potential for efficient landscaping and shading/cooling.
