We are blessed to live in a state where food grows on trees in the winter time. Why not take advantage of it? Plant edible trees at Caesar Chavez Plaza, at Burton Barr and other libraries, in parks and other public locations, especially where there are homeless people and low income folks. Help feed the citizens! If you are concerned about spoiling fruit on the ground, partner with volunteer organizations to clean up the mess, like Valley Permaculture Alliance and/or Hands on Greater Phoenix. Thank you.
