Dance is a community centered event and during the 1920's - 1950's dance halls were great places for families to come and build community. The Phoenix Masonic Lodge on 4th Ave. and Monore in downtown Phoenix is an incredible and historic space. I suggest the city of Phoenix restore the ballroom with all wood floors, state of the art sound system, and make it into a community space. Dance could be held there such as Swing, Salsa, Ballroom, etc. and it could be a place for all ages.
