If you go to new malls or major stores, luxury resorts, high end subdivisions... they all have one thing in common: IDENTITY and PLACE. The signs are carefully designed, large and lighted.Some incorporate water, rocks, plants..etc. But there isn't a lit decent sign for Phoenix, Arizona Science Center, Arizona Center, Steel Indian School Park, Nieghborhoods. Banners and small license plate signs are NOT SIGNS. This is primarily how the suburbs set themselves apart as superior/better versions of Phoenix. .. Why not encourage terrific signage? We have in Phoenix the companies and people who already know how to make these signs!
