Light rail is bringing people into Phoenix from across the Valley without the cars they're used to having. Beyond their primary destination, they may not know what's only a few blocks away. Let's take the next step (pun intended) by using the new Walk [Your City] platform to help people find local attractions and hidden gems along the line.

Walk [Your City] is a self-described "guerrilla wayfinding" project that helps people create more walkable cities. At walkyourcity.org residents can easily create signs to post in their communities directing walkers to favorite destinations with an arrow, minutes by foot, and QR code for more information. Despite the guerrilla possibilities for Walk [Phoenix], support from the City of Phoenix and businesses to allow sign posting would be ideal.
