We've all faced the problem of having too many remote controls! One for the TV, stereo, DVD, cable box...you get the idea.

When I search through my wallet I face the same problem. Library card, bus pass, grocery membership, coffee rewards, gym membership, restaurant points, retail hookups, and so on.

The idea is to have a Phoenix City card. That it would basically have the functions of all the cards we already carry. The twist is that the city of Phoenix makes contracts with local shops (especially) and corporations to give discounts to members. It is a way to encourage Phoenix residents to be active shoppers of the city but to be more active outside.

The card could be managed online by the user to add shops and manage points. Plus be informed of the deals/events happening at the participating locations as well as events happening around Phoenix. You could go as far as making this an app too.

Goal: Card that provides city unification/pride and benefits to residents.
