Some are getting scrapped, others continue falling into disrepair, and a few have gotten a somewhat "fresh" look by adopting national brand standards at varying levels. What more can we do to revive the unique independent themed motel concepts that once thrived along this stretch? I think we could use more affordable boutique lodging selections within walking distance of the light rail, and the bones are already there.
