by Haley R I agree with your comment that the City has worked very hard to improve downtown and it shows! Although, I would improve this idea by suggesting and even DEMANDING that they add BIKE LANES on ALL major roads, BIKE RACKS at ALL local businesses/venues and even more pedestrian-friendly walkways to promote LOCAL ECONOMY. There is NO BETTER WAY to PROMOTE local economy than to significantly improve bicycling and pedestrian pathways in major cities!!!!!!!!!!! This has been STATISTICALLY PROVEN through research in other major cities!!!
