I went to the yearly lighted holiday nighttime parade last year and in between floats I noticed... TOO MANY lights were out along Camelback at Central to 7thStreet. Besides the daily safety issues you had all these masses in a non lit area! Oh, and the distance between floats was ridiculous: get a FLOAT parade advisor and watch Pasadena's parades closely and produce it.
