Require the use of trees and vegetation beyond the just time of construction
Provide access to downtown with reasonable parking fees and parking at the light rail stops
Use streets to define a character of an area and not just move cars
Create walkable amenities throughout the city and not just downtown
Separate high volume thoroughfares and "walk appealing" streets
Cultivate a broad based identity, other than just Hispanic and Non-Hispanic
Develop an atmosphere that encourages an abundance of small businesses, so we aren't left with such a void, if a large business moves
Encourage a broader selection of building options and types of neighborhoods, such as live/work and mixed use
Utilize and call attention to our existing features, such as enforcing and improving the canal guidelines
