New Orleans is creating welcoming areas at bus stops called StreetHubs that incorporate elements such as shade, benches, planters, little libraries and vendor stands. This is a way to improve the safety and aesthetics of a block and, hopefully, will create a ripple effect in the community. This could be an interesting idea for Phoenix.
