There is 32 acres of land at Baseline and 27th Ave that is planned by Street Transportation and Parks to be turned into a Flood Basin...because it's in the general plan....a plan that was developed over 10 years ago when this area had little growth or development.

32-acres is an aweful lot of land to be turned into a bed of rocks. The land is situated immediately next to an elementary school.

I have a potential partnership between the American Youth Soccor Association - who has a budget of $700K to put toward building out Soccor fields. And when I approached the city, I was given the run-around.

The City should do due dillegence and pursue these opportunities of funding to help communities bring resoures when the City claims to have no money for spending.
