It would be great to move the Farmers Market to the Indian School/ Central light rail stop. You could house a much larger event at the empty space on the SW corner lot were there is curent planting acivity.... This would give the venue much more visibility, allow greater space and even could house live bands for entertainment and allow the trees/ planting to be appreciated even more. I have lived in CenPho for 14 years and am running out of patience for this area to take off... It is sad that we have great amanities, fantastic weather but no soul in the central city.... What can I do to help? A permanent home in the old train station would also benefit the market... It's time for the City to step in and stop relying on Mom and Pop stands to create a viable Central city. I gree they are needed, but we can't rely on their funding alone to make this succeed. We sit by and watch as Vegas, San Diego and Denver all manage to enterrtain their residents and visitors at a cost. When do we really want to embrace being a city and start acting like it? Do we concern ourselves when people like myself start leaving?
