There is a new type of open air non-machine fitness equipment permanently installed in some inner city parks in other cities. Perhaps we could try this in a couple of our parks.

The Solano Park at 17 Ave and Montebello has a deed restriction imposed by the donor of the land, forbidding the construction of any building. So something like this is a possibility.
