Improve city services customer service to the elderly. Senior citizens are often treated with disrespect and impatience. I am a CPA, specializing in assisting the elderly but have a wide variety of clients at all ages. Some of my clients often need to visit the unemployment office where they’ve not been treated very nicely. And the personnel at the local social security and AHCCS offices are often short tempered, impatient and in many cases, downright rude to the elderly. I understand better than anyone that sometimes dealing with senior citizens can be frustrating but that doesn’t mean they should not be treated with respect and dignity. Better training of these workers will make Phoenix a better place for our elderly. Thank you for listening.
