I notice in the area where I live, companies are asking to rezone residential areas for commercial development. Even as lots of nearby similar commercial buildings seem to have lots of available empty space. Rather than expanding commercial zoning into our neighborhoods, why not provide incentives to redevelop unused commercial space in areas that already have the proper zoning.
