Recycling cans should be placed next to garbage cans in high-use areas. I hate having to throw away something I know can be recycled simply because there are only trash cans around. I will take some things home to recycle, but there are times when it just doesn't work.

    by Nicole R11 I second this idea. The skeptics will say the recycle cans will just get mixed with people throwing garbage in them. I think creative minds can think around this, along with knowing recycling does become a habit when the means is provided.
