And free! In Downtown at least.

Still apply time restrictions (e.g. 1 hr or 2 hr parking) and still have meters in places that honestly do have the demand and need for turnover, but in the majority of downtown just let it be parallel & free. EVERYWHERE!

Like on the east side of 2nd St by The Met (an exceptionally wide road). There are "No Parking" signs for some inexplicable reason. But not anymore! Replace them with "2 hr parking" signs -- and that's not the only location, so let's start peppering the streets with free parallel parking!
