Reviewed Ideas
I recognize that the 7/7 reversible lanes are a politically hot button subject within the community, but I just don't get why we still have them. Maybe I'm missing part of the discussion. I realize we want to curb cut threw traffic during rush hours threw some of our wonderful residential neighborhoods; but I question if there isn't a more efficient and effective way to achieve that goal than to continue to have reversible lanes. The unintended consequences of the reversible lanes is that it causes people to do turn around on other residential streets so that they can make that left handed turn during rush hour. Just this week I was nearly ran into, head on, by someone that was using the reversible lane 2 minutes after its expiration.
