I'd like the General Plan to mention rehab/replace rundown commercial properties such as motels and strip malls.

They sometimes attract criminals and their behavior.
They're taxed out.
They're eyesores.
Because we're reactive about violations, we don't know what violations exist and because of their low rents people are unlikely to file complaints.

Maybe this item could be combined with adaptive reuse in the general plan.
