Southwest corner of Central and Van Buren is a 1928 office building with a beautiful lobby.
Pity it's now a Maricopa County secured facility. But you can press your nose to the glass of what was meant to be the main entrance - which is air conditioned for some reason and get a sense of what it must have been like to enter this office building back in the day.
