Phoenix is the 6th largest city in the nation and has a growing African American presence. We should have an "active" African American Musuem to reflect the culture. The musuem should be one that seeks to celebrate the culture by means of preservation (exhibitions), educating youth about the history, support to local Black artists, and outreach to the refugee community.
