Turn Indian Steel Park historic buildings into a community based functional arts/music school. This would draw in more talent from around the city and could be a hub for City projects, cultivating the huge amounts of diverse culture and talent that are spread throughout our communities. Have a gallery space that is more accessible to the community. The goal would be to create a creative environment that fosters the creative education of youth, teens,adults and seniors. Perhaps an additional wall and or sculptures can be added as an on going project-of which could be repainted as projects for youth etc-a mural space that can be repainted several times each year, or annually. This could be a great launching pad for many young artists to be associated with. Find a way to tie it into First Fridays, and regularly invite the corporate community into a specific space for meetings so they can see what is going on with the arts/youth etc.
