We need to start designating certain streets throughout Phoenix (and eventually the surrounding cities) for non-motorized vehicular use. We've got to break away from the current "bicycles sharing the road with motorized vehicles". Simple painted lines to divide the two is not the answer. These streets could also accommodate walkers, runners, dogs+, scooters, trikes . . . . The wider the street, the more uses we could designate for it. Perhaps one lane could be for battery-run bicycles or ??. This still needs a lot of work, but what do U think so far?
