Phoenix will never be a great City that can change with the times, if our Mayor is so weak. Mayor Stanton is doing a great job, but is hampered by our Council system. Our council system is designed for small and medium size towns, something we're not anymore.

Here's the bullet points if you don't want to read the whole article:

*Change PHX from a “Council-Manager” system with a weak Mayor to a “Mayor- Council” system with a strong Mayor.

*Expand the size of the City Council and add “at large” members who look out for the good of the whole city and are above District v District bickering.

*Redraw both the Council Districts and the Urban Planning Villages so they coordinate with one another and so neighborhoods have one Council-person to look to.
