The Westward Ho is one of the most iconic buildings in Phoenix and Arizona, yet few people ever get the pleasure of going inside it. Currently, it's being used as HUD housing for low income seniors. That's a noble use, but it seems to me we'd be better suited having the building open to the public and generating money. I'm all for the Seniors remaining in Downtown though. Having a Downtown that has people of all ages and income levels is important. But the people currently living in the Ho should be in a building thats designed specifically for their needs, not an old hotel thats been allowed to decay.
