I would like to propose an education summit which would bring together both Charter and Elementary Schools administrators to share best practices. In a State where education is woefully underfunded, I think it would be in the best interest of the children if we all worked together and shared what works and what doesn't.

I've actually proposed this idea to our State representatives from our District 16 to see if they would sponsor and there was no traction made. Instead, I'm wondering if our Mayor would take action to encourage City Council to find a way to sponsor a district education summit to share ideas or find another creative solution to improving education.
