Encourage offices in Phoenix to adopt a three tiered approach to managing waste:

Three bins in major common areas such as break rooms - recycling, compost, and landfill. Other cities have adopted the term "landfill" rather than trash, so that people are more immediately mindful of the long term results of their actions.

Additionally, encourage the use of smaller recycling containers in cubicles/offices, with a smaller landfill bin hanging inside of the larger recycling container so that space usage is minimized.

These small changes, when multiplied across hundreds of office buildings, would have a significant net impact on behavior when it comes to making efficient use of our limited resources and living in a more sustainable community.
