I discovered Urban Sustainable Living by watching the below video by Patti Moreno. Listening to seniors who were in tears because of their fixed budgets and having no money for gas. I mentioned gardening to them to only hear there are HOV laws that prohibit them from gardening. How absurd can this be.

I began to expan my garden to help supply fresh produce to those I personally know and they lived it. We have helped our neighbors by supplying them some of our produce as well.

The more I looked at our economy and our Nation this became more and more a solution. Can you imagine individual homes become sustainable. Mothers who work outside the home can begin to supplement their income at the Farmer's Market and still be available to their children, plus they will never have to rely on food stamps and their health will become better because they are no longer eating food that is processed with chemicals, preservatives and GMO products.

All I ask is watch the video link, go to Patti Moreno's other videos and become educated about Urban Sustainability. Help me change some of the existing policies/rules and laws that prohibit things like gardening, no poultry within 70' of any residence (this is absurd).

It is possible that I can become totally sustainable then I'll think about voting yes on higher taxes but not until some of these other laws go away.
