Designate north Cave Creek Road between Dunlap and Bell as a scenic corridor. This roadway goes thru the phoenix mountain preserve, but is currently designated for industrial uses. This is completely inappropriate. This is also a good example of what General Plans are for and a great opportunity to fix a problem and improve the visual character of our city.

The city should consider acquiring some of the derelict tire stores and auto dealers that back-up to the mountain preserve and acquire those properties to consolidate open space.

by Patrick B4 One possible explanation for this issue is the presence of radon in the north Phoenix areas adjacent to mountain preserves. Now that we know how to properly vent radon away from homes, it is worth bringing more residential and neighborhood commercial uses to the area.

by David B45 I like this idea. That road goes through such impressive desert scenery, but the development right along the road itself is unappealing.
