A planed cycling highway based off canal systems.

By adding common convinces like paved ground, watering/shade stations, mapping, lights, mechanical hand air pumps and designated bike crossing lights at the canal/road intersections we could create a similar bicycle highway to what has been built in other cities and countries. What has been done on some sections of canals have been a great start, but we should be able to connect one part of phoenix with another easily and comfortably for cyclist and pedestrians alike.
