First, what would be the purpose of a serious bicycle infrastructure?
- To create scenic idyllic bike routes that recreational cyclists can drive to?
- To make it easier for the several hundred thousand people who can't afford the $8,000 first year owning cost of a car to get to school/work?
- To allow the affluent to decide to shed their cars?
