Several points that need to be addressed. First, adding taxes to fund education is not the answer. There is alot of property that needs revaluation because of additional square footage and usage change, which because of the previous housing boom the city and the county could not do their job. The way the law is written in some cities you have to be "reported by your neighbor" in ordered to be taxed! Carports to garage, carport to room addition, patios to rooms, rooms added on to the back of the house. Alot of tax money is out there not being identied and collected.
