We need to try to save our future in building and development by expanding the new technology of Solar and Low water use features. Solar needs to be the standard for all new buildings and that will bring down the cost for all. The return on investment for Solar is so far out that we have to find a way to make it the Builder Standard and educate the consumer properly on what the costs are. We have a jewel in the desert and we need to remember that we will run out of water resources if we do not find a way to design and build with less waste! If we don't, we will lose business and industry! We should go back to building with concrete and block! No more stick and stucco that will not last the test of time! Concrete is the most affordable way to build energy efficient and will provide buildings that will last generations!
