Strengthen the fabric of diverse neighborhoods in downtown Phoenix and throughout the city. Strong cities are built on a foundation of distinct and distinctive neighborhoods. Provide greater input and opportunities for neighborhoods to create way-finding and other signage to identify themselves. Examples include sidewalk stamps, light pole banners, monument signs and kiosks. Downtown Los Angeles has elected neighborhood councils. Can we find ways to give downtown neighborhoods a greater voice in how their communities develop?
