I think Phoenix and Valley Metro should adopt a yield to bus plan. It would allow for increased bus efficiency and eliminate buses that are trapped in the bus pull outs and the bus pick merge areas on some roads. It would take some getting used to by drivers, but I think it is a much smarter strategy. It has been successfully implemented in Toronto and Quebec.
