I've seen a few ideas to improve the bicycle experience of Phoenix, but I'm not sure I saw this one, so I thought I would throw it into the mix. Feel free to roll it up under any of the other fabulous ideas.....bike rental.

I travel requently to Denver and noted that they have bike rental racks scattered around downtown (I saw one at the Denver Art Museum). People can rent a bike and then drop it off at another destination. I can't remember what it costs. But it seemed like a great idea for our own downtown area. Bike rental/drop offs could be at the convention center, art museum, Indian School Park, AZ Center....Light rail stops?
