What is missing in our downtown? Something to draw in all the people who live on the outskirts of the city. Something that is family friendly.... something that can, with an event, draw thousands.

Phoenix should host a Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and/or New Years Day parade. The event could feature businesses, organizations and schools from around the Valley on floats and offer great entertainment and fun to everyone surrounding Phoenix. An annual parade would bring excitement and liveliness to downtown streets which are oftentimes just short a tumbleweed of looking like the deserted Wild West.
